- The FDA has granted full approval for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, and the CDC has given approval for the Pfizer-BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. The CDC has also granted full approval for booster doses.
- We are partnering with local pharmacies to supply and administer the vaccine for our residents and associates.
- We are partnering with a pharmacy because the vaccines have specific storage and administration requirements.
- We strongly encourage residents to be vaccinated, and require our associates to be vaccinated. Associates and residents are also encouraged to receive a booster in accordance with FDA and CDC recommendations.
Vaccine Recommendations from the CDC
The CDC recommends residents of long-term health care facilities and health care personnel be vaccinated. Health care personnel include all paid and unpaid persons serving in health care settings who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients or infectious materials.
